To become a member, remit Rs.1000/- in one time payment or in two installments of Rs.500/- each or in 5 installments of Rs.200/- each, at any of Current Books or DC Books branches, DeeCee Ernakulam or Corporate Office. The amount can be sent as Money Order or cheque or DD drawn in favor of DC Books, Kottayam and in case of cheques, an additional amount of Rs.20/- should be included. Membership will be given only after processing the cheque.

• Terms and conditions

  • Deposit receipt signed by the Managing Partner/Executive Director along with the VIP Membership card will be sent from the Corporate office directly. Receipt and card should be kept safe, since duplicates will not be issued if lost. Only the Branches and Corporate Office is authorized to accept cash or issue receipt.
  • Books can be selected only from branches of DC Books- Current Books
  • The term of membership in VIP Book Club is 4 years. Amount once remitted will not be refunded before the expiry of the membership period. At the end of the 4th year, receipt can be returned and either Malayalam books worth Rs.1500/- or English books worth Rs.1250/- can be selected. Otherwise the money will be refunded.
  • VIP Book Club member can enjoy an additional discount of 5% on all pre-publication offers of DC Books and Current Books. But additional discount will not be offered in the case of pre-publication schemes where special offer is announced (like in the case of early bird offers or limited offers).
  • For every book purchase from DC Books or Current Books- except for textbooks, subsidized publications, periodicals, distribution books with nominal sales commissions, discount sales etc. - VIP book club member will be offered a discount of 20% on Malayalam books and 12.5% on English books.
  • VIP Book club member can avail free books from any three branches of DC Books-Current Books specified during the registration. But the member can purchase books from any of the shops enjoying the above mentioned discounts. With the permission of the Corporate Office the member can switch to preferred outlets for selecting gift books.
  • Membership number should always be mentioned while communicating with DC Books.
  • DC Books-Current Books reserves the right to alter membership rules and regulations if the need is felt at any time in the future. If any legal dispute related to VIP Book Club arises the adjudication territory will be Kottayam.
